Events 25 March 2013

Vodafone is pleased to announce that the Vodafone Smart Cities Webinar will be broadcast live from the London Stock Exchange on Monday 25th March at 3pm GMT.

Vodafone M2M are holding a free Vodafone Smart Cities Webinar on 25th March at 3pm which will bring together smart city experts, town planners and machine to machine specialists to discuss how changes in technology can help local governments with the challenges they face introducing new technologies into our cities. Technologies that will help to reduce costs, improve traffic flow, streamline infrastructure and lower our impact on the environment. The panellists will focus on the challenges faced by our cities and how machine to machine technology can be harnessed to improve city life for inhabitants on both a local and city-wide level.

As local governments continue to face budget cuts, technology can play an important role in introducing efficiencies, making the most of existing assets and reducing the impact we have on the environment. The panellists will focus on the challenges faced by our cities and how machine to machine technology can be harnessed to improve traffic flow, infrastructure, access to services, and community engagement on both a local and city-wide level.
