Vodafone Machine-to-Machine (M2M)

Managed Connectivity

Benefit from simplified installation, visibility and cost control of your M2M solution

Our Global Managed M2M Connectivity Service is designed to help you accelerate market entry for a new generation of connected M2M deployments such as vehicle telematics, fleet management, electronic metering, asset tracking and remote operations on a local, regional and global scale.

Underpinned by patented technology, our Global M2M Service removes the barriers for M2M applications such as country-specific SIMs, multiple individual contractual agreements or complex service integration and operation.

At the core of our Global Managed M2M Connectivity Service is our Global M2M Platform - a powerful solution to help you self-manage your connected M2M deployments.

Our Managed Connectivity Solution brings together:

Our Network

With the world’s biggest, fully-owned network and strong partner alliances, Vodafone M2M provides our customers with distinct advantages, including flexible commercial models, simplified management and, crucially, commitments to service quality.

Our Global M2M Platform

A centrally hosted, secure self-service platform which delivers authentication and access control, and near real-time usage and management of any Global SIM, on any Vodafone and Vodafone M2M Partner mobile network anywhere in the world. It has an easy-to-use web ‘self-service’ interface that allows you to access the vital management information.

Our Global SIM

We provide pre-provisioned and ready to- use SIMs and solderable M2M SIM chips that can be fully integrated in manufacturing and distribution processes with a single ‘bill of material’. Ideal for M2M solutions where devices manufactured in one country may be shipped to another, or where the final destination may not be known at time of manufacture, our global SIMs and SIM chips mean that you do not need to buy local cellular connectivity or worry about roaming costs.

Our Code of Conduct

Reporting concerns

All employees and contractors have a duty to report any breaches of our Code of Conduct, which is known as our "Speak Up" policy. We have launched a global external reporting scheme which allows employees and contractors to report through a third party. This new process enables us to consolidate existing whistle blowing practice in local markets, increases visibility and ensures consistency of approach in responding to concerns raised from across the organisation. Concerns may be reported anonymously and the protection of innocent people is our priority at all times. People can identify themselves to our external partner using a PIN and receive feedback. Vodafone has a non-retaliation policy and will not take any action against anyone reporting a genuine concern, even if this is proven not to result in a breach of compliance.
