Asset tracking

Locate and track assets in real-time to increase operational efficiency, reduce theft and recover lost or stolen assets.

Keeping control of your assets
The Vodafone Connected Ice Cream Cooler

Efficiently managing critical business assets such as tools, supplies, equipment, fleet or products poses a significant challenge and can be a highly labour-intensive and costly process. Additionally, the theft, loss, breakdown or delay in delivery of assets can have huge financial implications - loss of working time, delays in production, the expense of hiring in alternative equipment and increased insurance premiums.

With increasing competition demanding greater flexibility and process efficiency, the inability to track and recover assets due to poor process controls and lack of automation can have a significant impact. Businesses need to look at how they can do more with less – how they can automate manual processes, increase efficiencies, reduce theft and loss and optimise uptime and utilisation of assets.

With Vodafone’s Asset Tracking solutions businesses have real time visibility of assets and a single global view, putting the business back in control no matter where assets are. Our solutions utilise multiple positioning technologies, managed by our Machine to Machine platform and with Vodafone’s global mobile network at the core.

Depending on your particular environment and the type of mobile equipment or materials to be tracked we can provide a range of tracking solutions to meet your needs. All of this means you can automate previously manual processes, increase efficiency, reduce theft and loss, optimise uptime and increase the effective utilisation of your assets.

Vodafone offers our customers a truly global solution in that we can design, deploy and provide dedicated support and managed service capability for our Asset Tracking solutions globally. Our Code of Conduct

Reporting concerns

All employees and contractors have a duty to report any breaches of our Code of Conduct, which is known as our "Speak Up" policy. We have launched a global external reporting scheme which allows employees and contractors to report through a third party. This new process enables us to consolidate existing whistle blowing practice in local markets, increases visibility and ensures consistency of approach in responding to concerns raised from across the organisation. Concerns may be reported anonymously and the protection of innocent people is our priority at all times. People can identify themselves to our external partner using a PIN and receive feedback. Vodafone has a non-retaliation policy and will not take any action against anyone reporting a genuine concern, even if this is proven not to result in a breach of compliance.
